Hunt for names of gumdiggers T
he transformation of Dalmatian Lane, which runs between Kaitaia’s main street and the old Warehouse building, has been completed — almost. All that’s missing is the names of some of the gumdiggers in the photos that now adorn the lane.
The Te Hiku working group, which is leading the town’s revitalisation project, is keen to tick off that final detail, and is hoping someone will be able to fill in the blanks. Anyone who can help is asked to contact Andrea Panther at Andrea@hoskincivil.co.nz.
