Man, 29, wanted for missed court dates

Kaitaia police are appealing for informatio­n on a wanted man who failed to show up for court.

In a statement released on Friday, police said Lewis Haddon, 29, of Horeke had six warrants for his arrest for failing to appear in court in Kaikohe on February 22.

Police said Haddon was actively avoiding them and was also wanted to interview in relation to failing to stop for police.

He is considered a risk to the public and should not be approached.

Any informatio­n on his whereabout­s will be treated as confidenti­al.
