The Northland Age welcomes letters from readers. Please note the following:

Noms de plume may be used by those who do not wish to divulge their identity, but preference may be given to those carrying the author’s name.

No letter will be published unless it carries a legible signature and address, even when a nom de plume is used.

The editor’s decision on publication is final.

Brevity is appreciated, although there is no strict limit to length.

The editor reserves the right to decline publication of any letter judged to be obscene, libellous or obscure beyond redemption, and to abridge where required in the interest of decency, legality or space. Email editor@northlandage.co. nz or write to the Editor,
