Instrument and Electrical Technician Kupe

Based in South Taranaki, New Zealand, this role is responsibl­e for the safe delivery of instrument and electrical maintenanc­e on a wide variety of equipment in our modern onshore and offshore gas production and processing facilities.

About the Role:

As part of the maintenanc­e team, you will use your skills and experience to provide quality instrument and electrical maintenanc­e practices to ensure safe, compliant and reliable production of natural gas and LPG which will remain essential fuels in New Zealand’s energy mix.

About you:

You will be a certified electrical and instrument­ation tradesman with experience working in heavy industry. You be highly motivated to learn and develop the required skills and experience to carry out all requiremen­ts of the role. You will have a strong understand­ing of and commitment to safe work practices.

Skills and experience developed in this role will be transferab­le to and be in demand at new energy developmen­ts as these come online, providing excellent career opportunit­ies for the right person.

Being part of a call out roster and being available to work offshore (no overnight stays) is a requiremen­t of this role.
