Instrument and Electrical Technician Kupe
Based in South Taranaki, New Zealand, this role is responsible for the safe delivery of instrument and electrical maintenance on a wide variety of equipment in our modern onshore and offshore gas production and processing facilities.
About the Role:
As part of the maintenance team, you will use your skills and experience to provide quality instrument and electrical maintenance practices to ensure safe, compliant and reliable production of natural gas and LPG which will remain essential fuels in New Zealand’s energy mix.
About you:
You will be a certified electrical and instrumentation tradesman with experience working in heavy industry. You be highly motivated to learn and develop the required skills and experience to carry out all requirements of the role. You will have a strong understanding of and commitment to safe work practices.
Skills and experience developed in this role will be transferable to and be in demand at new energy developments as these come online, providing excellent career opportunities for the right person.
Being part of a call out roster and being available to work offshore (no overnight stays) is a requirement of this role.
