Club swings into all-day comp

Kaitaia Croquet Club hosted their first ADT (All Day Tournament) for the 2022-23 season. There was a great turnout of competing players from clubs all over Northland On Friday October 14, said club spokeswoman Lyn Rupapera.

Exciting games were played with a lot of skill, miss calculations, banter and generally great camaraderie between croquet players, some having theIR first introduction to an ADT tournament, she said. The weather played its part by having four seasons in one day, which made games a bit of a challenge, but the five games each person played were completed.

The person with the most jump shots scored during the day was Kaitaia’s Drago Yelavich who had six successful jump shots.
