Doak, Reddy claim victory
The Houhora Bowling and Sports Club recently held the Wagener Engineering any combination 3 bowl pairs competition with teams competing from Kaeo, Coopers Beach, RSA, Russell, Church Rd, Houhora and even a team from New Lynn in Auckland. Good to see you again Douglas and family.
Winners on the day were:
1st — Marty Doak and Mike Reddy with 4 wins, 23 ends and 53 points
2nd — Kevin Briscoe and Sonny Hokai with 4 wins, 23 ends and 44 points
3rd — Lindy Beaver and Logan Taylor with 3 wins, 26 ends and 40 points
The good sports prize was given to the New Lynn team of Douglas Mansill, his daughter Jean and grandson Douglas Jnr.
