There was a holiday atmosphere at Houhora for Sunday's competitio­n, which included two hidden holes drawn for double points. First was

Denis Musson with 44/56 after added stableford points from Don McIntyre 44/54 and third Cabby Johnson 42 /50.

Nearest the pin was Paul Thompson and longest putt Allan Witana a visitor from Auckland.

Results from last Wednesday's 9-hole competitio­n: first Paul Sykes with 19 stableford points from Warren Rogers 17 and Neil St George third also 17 but losing on countback. Nearest the pin was Paul Sykes and longest putt Ian Davis.
