Circus time
Mā oritanga & Circus Arts will come together this week to raise cultural awareness and offer people a chance to practice circus arts in a safe space to make the sector, people and communities more connected and resilient. From October 26-28, Circability will team up with Kaitaia groups and people to offer workshops, performances, kō rero and opportunities for diverse communities to connect. The public is invited to Jaycee Park tomorrow to take part in a flash mob-style Whare Tapere event, share experiences, have a laugh and show off their skills. Today, the Te Ahu Centre will host performances and workshops, followed by a hui to discuss culture, the circus and how the group came together.
