The Northland Age

Well done, Moko and Kelly

-

Well done, Moko and Kelly. Congratulations to you both.

The bond between Wayne Brown and John Carter is finally over!

Now hopefully we, the ratepayers, can get some good answers to our questions about, namely, the great big leech Far North Holdings [FNHL].

Has Wayne Brown still got his hand still in there?

How come they can come shut down the Kaitaia town clock parking and build an ugly building on it that seems not to be used at all?

They now have got their hands on the old Pak’nSave carpark. God knows what’s going on there.

Opua has been hammered by them, now Ngawha is involved.

Being a subsidy of FNDC [Far

North District Council] we, the ratepayers, therefore must be shareholders of FNHL yet we have been denied all knowledge of what’s happening there.

FNDC finances the show yet who gets the profits etc?

How many people are on the pay roll for FNHL?

Regarding water supplies to Kaitaia.

The first attempt form Sweetwater to Kaitaia, for only about 1.8 or so million dollars was a dismal failure. The second attempt? Who knows? The wise ones who reigned over us, tell us that the surplus water from the Herekino state forest has algae bloom, which renders the Okahu dam useless?

Once again to the new blood — here’s wishing you both all the best. May all the ratepayers benefit. Keith Fryer
