Teachers talk pay offer

-

More than 900 high school teachers in Northland will attend paid union meetings this week to discuss the government’s recent offer for a new collective agreement. PPTA Te Wehengarua members want a cost of livingadjusted pay increase, significantly more guidance counselling staff to work with students who are struggling, and some workload controls. The meetings, to be held in Kerikeri, Wellsford and Whangarei, will also decide on the next steps in the collective agreement campaign.
