Adams, Thunder back in winner’s circle
KIWI centre Steven Adams played his part but took a back seat to star point guard Russell Westbrook in a much-needed NBA win yesterday for the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Again missing injured MVP Kevin Durant, the Thunder dispatched the Orlando Magic 104-97.
Adams scored 12 points as the Thunder snapped a two-game losing streak and improved to 24-24.
Westbrook posted a triple double with 25 points, 14 assists, 11 rebounds and four steals.
