Boutique vineyard in top location

-

TENDERS CLOSE on June 16 for a six-hectare boutique vineyard in sought-after Bridge Pa, a premium wine growing area of Hawke’s Bay.

The property, at 214 Ngatarawa Rd, in Hastings, is on the popular wine trail cycleway that encompasses the wineries in the Bridge Pa triangle, an area renowned for producing awardwinning Bordeauxstyle wines, Hadley Brown, of Colliers International Rural and Agribusiness, says.

‘‘Hawke’s Bay is known as much for its lifestyle offerings as its sunny Mediterranean climate, and this property, being located amongst some of the top wineries in the region, offers an idyllic lifestyle in a desirable location for the new owner.’’

The vineyard is planted in merlot, sauvignon blanc and cabernet franc vines, with water sourced from two bores to supply irrigation and the overhead sprinkler system for frost protection.

The substantial homestead includes four bedrooms, two living areas, large outdoor areas and an in-ground swimming pool.

A detached garage offers a walk-in temperature controlled wine cellar.

‘‘This property offers Hawke’s Bay lifestyle living at its best,’’ Brown says.

‘‘It is set in a beautiful area, lies within 10-20 minutes drive from both Napier and Hastings cities and has on its doorstep two excellent golf courses as well as a great selection of state and private schools.’’
