Trying to keep ourselves away from Devonport Chocolates’ Easter bunnies. Robert Rabbit and Becs the Bunny are two of the cutest chocolate treats to come from the chocolatier, but there’s plenty of eggs available too. Robert weighs a whopping 2kg, and goes for $250, so provides a challenge to even the biggest chocoholics.

RRP from $5.50 to $250, available at devonportchocolates.co.nz.

Firing up the blender for proper morning smoothies, thanks to Oob Organic’s frozen smoothie mixes. The two new mixes, Supercharge and Revitalise, are all organic and take the fuss out of chopping up ingredients. With a beetroot, blueberry, blackberry and ginger, or kale, kiwi fruit, apple and mint, both will kick off each day nicely. Available at New Worlds around the country. RRP $9 for 450 grams.

Savouring a world first: turmeric latte coconut icecream. Wāhiki Coconut Creamery has come up with the flavour, which combines bananas, coconut cream, cinnamon, black pepper and, of course, turmeric. It’s a classic recipe turned into something to savour without too much guilt. Available at select locations, which can be found at wahiki.co.nz. RRP $5 for 480ml and $4 for 120ml.

Sipping on two fancy experimental beers from Blackdog Brewery. Mangoes into a Bar, a mango IPA, and Carrot Top, an Americanstyle amber ale. Both have won international awards, and are limited edition releases. The 500ml bottles are available at select supermarkets and liquor stores around the country. RRP $11 per bottle.
