Choir at a special concert in Wellington’s Sacred Heart Cathedral tonight from 7.30pm. The choir will perform a vibrant repertoire, including works from Pachelbel to Eric Whitacre, and plenty of great Kiwi music. Tickets from nzsschoir.com.

A TIME LIKE THIS

A Time Like This is the touching, yet at times horrific story of World War I veteran Douglas Chapman. It’s 1984 and he’s just marched in the Anzac parade, feeling lonely and sad that his life has become so small and empty. He drinks and recalls his life in the final weeks of the war. BATS Theatre; 8pm.
