Wellington people: Do Snapper cards work reliably for you? I find mine fails frequently in various ways. Except for the top-up machine at the airport, which seldom works at all.

I’ve lived in Welly for 26 years and I’ve tooted my horn every single time I’ve driven through Mt Vic Tunnel. Call it quirky but if you don’t like the cacophony, take the long way round. I always smile when others do it too.
