The property, at 1 Puriri St, had a rateable value of $650,000 and sold for $825,000.

The property, at 87 Beauchamp St, had a rateable value of $960,000 and sold for $1.091 million.
‘‘It was a lovely 1920s weatherboard home filled with character,’’ Clare Newton Smith, of Harcourts, says. ‘‘The owners had enhanced the property by installing a fabulous new kitchen and bathroom.’’
The 180sqm house had four bedrooms and two living areas, and was on a 535sqm section.
