TWO NEWLY CREATED POSITIONS

The Medical Sciences Secretariat supports the Medical Sciences Council and Medical Radiation Technologists Board which regulate three professions and 7,000 practitioners. Due to recent growth, the Secretariat has established two new roles: SENIOR FINANCE ADMINISTRATOR – PART-TIME Reporting to the Finance and Office Manager, you will be responsible for the management of the general ledger and day-to-day accounting, and payroll systems and processes. You will also ensure statutory obligations are met and organisational policies and protocols are adhered to.

You will be experienced in general ledger and trial balance management and have a good level of analytical ability. Your strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills will be greatly appreciated. A tertiary qualification in accounting or financial management, or previous experience in a similar role, is required.

Consultant: Nicola Beale REGISTRATION COORDINATOR Working closely with the Registrar, the Registration Coordinator will be responsible for managing the registration and recertification of practitioners and assessing overseas qualifications. You will also contribute to reporting processes and ad-hoc project work.

You will have experience of analysing information and data, and risk identification skills. You will be an excellent communicator and have a tertiary qualification. Experience gained working in a health or regulatory environment would be useful.
