If you could bring one person back from the dead, who would it be and why?

My great-grandmother Tig. I hardly knew her, and she was so important to my family. My sister wants to learn to sew, and she was amazing at that.

You get to buy one thing – no matter what it costs. What do you buy?

A rocket ship that never runs out of fuel and the fuel is made out of rubbish. I would rather move around from planet to planet than to stay in one place.

Would you rather be able to fly or have the power of invisibility? Why?

I would rather fly because then I would be able to see loads of birds like the kea, my favourite animal. email: capitalday@dompost.co.nz

What is your favourite childhood toy?

My Xbox right now, and when I was little, my soft toy dog who now sadly has no nose.

Three weeks’ holiday in Antarctica or Thailand – and why?

Antarctica. It is such an amazing place, it’s filled with penguins (which are so cute) and seals (the baby seals are so cute). My godmother Sam bought me a toy seal back from Antarctica when she went there. She gave my sister a penguin.

If environmental funds allowed only one to be saved, would it be fish or birds? Why? Birds. They are so fascinating and beautiful. And flying must be so cool!
