Gold Awards finalists announced

Finalists for this year’s Wellington Gold Awards have been announced from the largest group of nomination­s in the awards’ 23-year history.

The director of the awards, John Dow, said the ability of the Gold Awards to bring people together from different background­s is what makes them special.

‘‘We cover the whole Wellington region. It’s a very special night.’’

The awards ceremony will be held on Thursday, July 29, at TSB Arena.
