Love and Marriage: Images of Romantic Unions

This exhibition, curated by 2023 Liz Stringer scholarshi­p recipient Karis Evans, is an invitation to explore the myriad ways romantic partnershi­ps are defined, expressed, and felt. The exhibition showcases 32 pieces including 21 wedding photograph­s from national and regional collection­s which provide an official overview of how marital traditions have been conducted, recorded, and repeated in New Zealand over the last 150 years.
