The sharemarket report on Saturday said that Steel & Tube Holdings had closed on Friday at $2.73. The correct price was $2.39.
A report on December 18 about Jack Dargan, 18, who has pleaded guilty to damaging windows on buses in April, incorrectly stated what he was carrying when stopped by police in November. He was carrying a bag containing two spray cans and felt tips, not etching tools.
G North, of Prebbleton, writes to point out that primary-school children do not have a two-month break over summer, as we reported on December 19. They are away from school for six weeks until the end of January. Their teachers return to work earlier.
