Stunned by ‘muse’

The first I knew of painter Kees Bruin’s ‘‘muse’’ was the photo of her in the newspaper a few days ago.

I was stunned and quite offended to see a 10-metre high naked woman (no matter how artistic she may be) sitting on the side of Sumner Rd

I’m not surprised the painting was defaced and then removed by someone. Some people may remember a thing called the women’s movement, which was all about stopping the objectification of women, but it seems not many do.
