Duntroon, Waitaki Valley Grade: Easy. Time: Two to three hours, depending on how much walking you want to do. How to get there: On SH83, 42km northwest of Oamaru. Earthquakes Valley, turn off SH83 by the church, onto Earthquakes Rd. The walk begins 6.5km down this road on the left. Elephant Rocks is 6km from Duntroon on Island Cliff Rd, off Danseys Pass Rd, while Anatini Whale Fossil is on the same road, just 1km on.
