The construction of five Real Time Kinematic (TRK) towers, four in Mid-Canterbury and one in Selwyn, over the last seven years now means the region boasts more than 6000 square kilometres of coverage.
‘‘The RTK towers in the region provide customers with sub-inch and repeatable accuracy and it means those within the coverage area don’t have to purchase their own base station,’’ says Paul Galletly, the company’s customer account manager.
‘‘For most customers, all they need is an upgrade and a subscription which will translate into a saving of thousands.’’

RTK also offers two primary benefits over standard satellite based correction services.
That includes sub-inch accuracy – pass-to-pass and repeat accuracy of +/- 1 inch and repeatability – return to the same tramlines or coordinates of any field, at any point in time.
