Where to watch

-

Rugby punters will be spoilt for choice when it comes to finding a spot to watch the Rugby World Cup kick off this weekend. For those not so intune with the game, there’s one licensed venue in Christchurch for every player allowed on the field at a time (that’s 30 by the way). Fox and Ferret Riccarton is one of the 30 venues that have been granted a licence for extended hours for all games. General manager Hamish Keen said the pub would show every game involving New Zealand, England, and Ireland, including all knockout games. The pub would open at 6am on Saturday for the opening ceremony, followed by England kicking the tournament off against Fiji at 7am.
