Crash kills one

A person died and another was in a critical condition after a serious crash in Otago. Four cars were involved in the incident on State Highway One near Moeraki, about 3.35pm. A St John spokesman said one person was airlifted to Dunedin Hospital with serious injuries, while two other people were taken to Oamaru Hospital with moderate injuries. One person was trapped following the crash and had to be cut from the wreckage.
