Sally Ridge launches first listing
She’s been an interior designer, television presenter, clothing company owner and star of a reality television series. Now Sally Ridge is turning her hand to real estate.
She is working in sales for Bayleys in Ponsonby. Her first listing, a Parnell apartment, went live this week.
A spokesman for Bayleys said the listing was being undertaken ‘‘in partnership with an experienced mentor salesperson’’.
Ridge said her foray into the Auckland property market was a natural progression that would allow her to use her tenacity, creativity, and people skills.
‘‘I’ve previously held roles as an interior design adviser, and was recently engaged to create enticing interior design aesthetics for a number of new apartment projects,’’ she said.
Ridge said she was an experienced property seller, buyer and renovator, and was wellversed in the challenges that her clients could face throughout the sale process of their real estate asset.
She is not the only familiar face that has recently made the switch from television to real estate.
Former TV3 sports presenter Hamish McKay now works for Bayleys in St Heliers, Auckland.
