The prime sheep market had another good gain with ewe prices rising $3-$5 at livestock sales at Canterbury Agricultur­al Park, in Christchur­ch, this week.

Prime lambs were unchanged from last week with the best lambs at $125. Better store lambs made $80-$89. Prime lambs

Values: A large yarding of prime lambs sold on par with last week. Heavy lambs made $118-$125, medium $110-$115 and light $95-$105.
