Crash driver still in hospital

Two drivers involved in a bus crash near Akaroa remain in hospital four days after the incident. Eight people were taken to Christchurch Hospital following Wednesday’s crash, including six tourists from the Celebrity Solstice cruise ship, which was berthed in Akaroa at the time. Police said yesterday the driver of the car was in the intensive care unit and the bus driver was in a stable condition in hospital. The cruise ship passengers have all been discharged from hospital.
