Pedestrian punched
Two men repeatedly punched a pedestrian in an unprovoked attack on Christchurch’s Ferry Rd on Saturday. St John spokeswoman said the patient was taken to Christchurch Hospital with moderate injuries. The men in question were believed to be about 18 years old. One was described as slightly chubby, short and wearing a basketball singlet. The second man was taller, wearing baggy cargo pants and a white T-shirt. Anyone who may have seen the incident is asked to contact police.
