CHRISTCHURCH LIVESTOCK SALES
A pen of 30 Oxford ewes made $161 each at livestock sales at Canterbury Agricultural Park, in Christchurch, this week.
The prime ewe market increased across the grades with the best ewes making $149-$161.
Prime lambs rose $2-$3 a head with heavy lambs at $130-$140.
Top store lambs reached $100. Prime steers made $2.95/kg - $3.10 and heifers $2.85 - $3.02.

Values: The market increased $2 to $3 per head. Heavy lambs made $130-$140, good $120-$130, medium $110-$120 and lighter $95-$110.
