Family altercation

Police say an incident in Sumner which left a man and a woman injured was a ‘‘family harm event’’. A search began on Saturday evening after a man allegedly fled a Colenso St property, where police found a woman with minor injuries. Emergency services attended the property about 5.30pm. The man was thought to have possible injuries and blood on his clothes. No-one else was being sought in relation to the incident.
