Backbencher MP blocks back of Parliament

National backbencher Chris Bishop has run afoul of fire safety rules, parking his car directly in front of a fire exit outside Parliament. When alerted to that fact by a fire warden, he promptly shifted his car, and posted an apologetic selfie on Twitter. It’s not likely that he did it on purpose, as the car Bishop parked was covered in pictures of himself, along with his name, telephone number and email address. On the other hand, the fire exit he was blocking was by the press gallery, so who knows.
