Spreading HIV
A man who had unprotected sex with men he met through social media has admitted he did not tell them he was HIV positive. Johnny Lachlin Benjamin Lumsden, 26, was charged with endangering the health of three men by criminal nuisance and a representative charge of supplying methamphetamine. Lumsden knew of his diagnosis since 2016. When police obtained his phone they found messages showing between October and November he was dealing methamphetamine. Judge Jane Farish refused Lumsden’s bail and remanded him in custody for sentencing on September 7.
