Time for a change to a fresh slogan on Labour hoardings

Labour activists may be busy tearing down billboards in preparation for a new crop. But first the party’s brains’ trust is kicking the tyres on a new slogan to replace Andrew Little’s ‘‘A fresh approach’’. It is understood leader Jacinda Ardern will make the announcement perhaps as soon as today. In the meantime parliamentary pundits are trialling a few ideas including ‘‘a Change for the Better’’, ‘‘Let’s do this New Zealand’’, ‘‘Ardern Up’’, ‘‘a fresher still approach’’, ‘‘The People’s Party’’ or even ‘‘#We’ve got this’’.
