Most of the party leaders aren’t fussed about Hosking
Anger at Mike Hosking’s role in the TVNZ debates seems to be with Winston Peters alone. Greens leader James Shaw, United Future leader Peter Dunne, Prime Minister Bill English and Labour leader Jacinda Ardern did not seem at all bothered about Hosking taking on the gig in the lead-up to the election. ‘‘I’m sure he can put his professionalism in front of his personal biases,’’ Shaw said. Dunne didn’t ‘‘care’’ who was the host, saying ‘‘it’s the politicians that matter in those debates’’.
