Farewell Dr Vernon Small, now trading as Dr of Spin

Stuff and The Dominion Post bid farewell this week to Dr Vernon Small as he departs the press gallery to start spinning on behalf of Trade Minister David Parker. Small is a life gallery member and has reported on most of the biggest events in New Zealand political history during his 24 years in the gallery. But a stand-out moment was the time a pottle of yoghurt exploded in his pocket during a stand-up with former Labour leader Andrew Little. We’ll miss you V.
