Alterations to employment bill worry employers’ union
The Employers and Manufacturers Association (EMA) is urging business to weigh in on proposed changes in the Employment Relations Amendment Bill relating to union access to workplaces. EMA chief executive Kim Campbell said under the Government’s proposed changes, the primary duty of a union delegate to obtain agreement to enter a work site had become blurred. ‘‘The changes could result in a union delegate coming on-site unannounced, and have the potential to be extremely disruptive.’’
