Filly’s future

Connections of the promising filly Hattie Bee are already looking forward to next season with the daughter of Bernardini. The EmmaLee and David Browne-trained juvenile has returned to work after a short break following her unplaced run in the Karaka Million (1200m). ‘‘She went forward which didn’t suit her, but it was great for the syndicate to just have her in the race,’’ EmmaLee Browne said. Hattie Bee finished in the money in all three of her starts leading up to the Karaka Million.
