Adams doubles up

-

Steven Adams’ hot run of form has continued as he registered his third-straight double-double. The Kiwi centre scored 10 points and hauled in a game-high 13 rebounds against the San Antonio Spurs on Friday (NZ time), but it wasn’t enough to stop his Oklahoma City Thunder team from going down 103-99. The Thunder haven’t won in San Antonio since Christmas Day, 2014, with that streak extended by the impressive play of Spurs big LaMarcus Aldridge. His double-double of 25 points and 11 rebounds led the Spurs to victory as they moved ahead of the Thunder into fourth place in the Western Conference with a 44-32 record.
