Paintball attack

A person was struck by a paintball when their vehicle was pelted in a drive-by shooting in central Dunedin. Police were called to reports of a person firing a paintball gun on George St about 1.35pm yesterday. One person was struck by a pellet, but was uninjured Red paint could be seen on the rental vehicle. Police were speaking to the victims, understood to be foreign tourists, and inquiries were continuing. Another vehicle was also targeted.
