What to do about hospital

With the new acute services building at Christchurch Hospital already declared too small (I shall resist asking who thought it would be satisfactory), a solution is now needed. May I suggest that, painful though it would be to the pocket, a few sticks of dynamite under the old PMH building, followed by the erection of a new, modern facility on site, would make sense?
