Kaiapoi North School principal Jason Miles said he was relieved someone had been found. ‘‘I’m relieved . . . it reassures the community that we won’t have any repeats of this action.’’ Staff were still very emotional about the lost classrooms, he said. No-one was injured in the fire, but there was significant damage to the building.
