Strike disappointment

I am saddened to read that more strikes are planned for next year. I, and I am sure most of the community understand, and empathise with, the grievances of striking teachers and nurses.

But strikes only disadvantage pupils and patients and not the Government.

Strikers need to realise that it is not possible for the present Government to remedy the nine years of the shortcomings of the previous Government in one go. Like the Cheese Man says, ‘‘Good things take time’’.
