Port hills fire risk

It is concerning Fire and Emergency New Zealand is now assessing fire risk based on the colour of vegetation on the Port Hills as seen from the city. The Port Hills fire review and recovery plans talk in detail about felled wood products fuelling the 2017 fire, yet requests to Fenz to remove such material this fire season have been ignored, contrary to its promises of community engagement.
