Threat to democracy

When Martin van Beynen writes in ‘‘A new threat to healthy democracy’’ (B6, Jan 5), that disastrous Marxist, totalitarian regimes in China and Russia had ‘‘killed millions’’, is he trying to imply that capitalist regimes did not?
