Sales growth sluggish

Kiwi shoppers spent more than $6 billion through the Paymark network last month but sales growth was sluggish. Paymark recorded 120.7 million transactions during the month, 2 per cent more than in December 2018. The value of trade through the network was up 1.2 per cent for December, below the 5 per cent growth rate of the previous 11 months.
