Man tries to rob dairy

A man armed with a knife has tried to rob a Christchurch dairy.

Emergency services were called to the Skinny Clyde Road Dairy on Clyde Rd in Bryndwr at 11.24am yesterday.

A police spokesman said the man came into the store armed with a knife and walked up to the counter. It remained unclear if anything was stolen.
