The Nutella Cookie Pie at Moustache Milk and Cookie Bar.
Cookie lovers rejoice, Moustache Milk and Cookie Bar has opened another Christchurch location.
When owner operator Deanna Yang brought the Moustache cookie bus to the city earlier this year, she thought her time here was temporary, but the cookie enthusiasts of Canterbury have welcomed Moustache with such glee that the business is now set to stay.
The new Stranges Lane location will still focus on classic Moustache cookies, made with Whittaker’s chocolate.
Milkshakes, hard shakes and ‘‘mo-tinis’’ will also be on offer, and a small, cookie-inspired dessert menu will also be available.
Expect items such as hot cookie skillets, cookie sundaes, icecream sandwiches, and cookie cake by the slice. Moustache also bakes vegan, dairy-free and gluten-free cookies.

Well-loved Somerfield pub Moon Under Water is set to open a new venture in the city in January.
A craft beer venue, 12 Bar will offer a sunny northfacing beer garden, with a chilled out atmosphere during the day, and plenty of live music in the evenings.
It promises to feature ‘‘wall-to-wall blues music’’, with regular local, national and international acts.
Alongside the best craft brews, there will be plenty of options for those who prefer more familiar beers. Food will be provided by rotating local food trucks. 342 St Asaph St
J-Bings has become something of a Christchurch street-food legend.
In 2016, it started as a food truck, and has recently opened a Lichfield St location. Head in for delicious bing, some of the best dumplings in the city, milk tea, dim sum and more.
What is a bing? It’s a Chinese crepe made with mung bean flour, egg, and sesame seeds, and stuffed with delicious fillings. J-Bings’ original bing is vegetarian, but the pork bing is the most popular and comes filled with slow-cooked pork, mixed salads, wonton paper, hoisin sauce, and mayo. Other options, such as the beef noodle soup, come with slow-braised beef, Asian spices and beef broth.
