Fran Henderson bought the business four years ago, along with its sister shop Rohm just across the road.
She says the store has trusted brands representing the cutting-edge of fashion but with styles that help women feel comfortable and upbeat.
Summery shirts and comfy jeans are available alongside a broad selection dresses, coats, skirts and more.
‘‘I have a love for fashion and helping people feel good in what they are wearing. If something makes you smile and feel positive, you’ll be confident and your day will always be a good one. So my advice to women is to have fun and try new things,’’ Fran says.
Mhor’s trendy-yet-casual clothing range transfers easily from resort-like Hanmer Springs to the bustle of city life. The common factor is the range’s sense of ‘‘lift’’, which carries over into the attitude of staff.

‘‘We all have a passion for fashion and finding the perfect outfit for our customers, and we do it while having fun,’’ Fran says. ‘‘We laugh a lot.’’
